Annie Mae LePori Fielder, 102, of Red Rock passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024. She was born September 14, 1921 in Gonzales the daughter of William Henry and Annie Adams LePori. She married Melvin Edward Fielder in Houston, Texas on December 10, 1949.
She served with the United States Army from 1943 until 1945. She worked for many years as a clerk with credit unions and banking. She was a longtime member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Gonzales and the American Legion.
She is survived by her daughter Faith Rolls and husband Carl of Red Rock; granddaughter Janine Maxfield; grandsons Riley Fielder, Beau Fielder and Brian Fielder; 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Melvin Edward Fielder Jr., sister Ruth Thomas and brothers Alvis LePori and Elgin LePori.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Denton Creek Cemetery with Reverend Hollas Hoffmann officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Luling American Legion.
