A.J., who, after over a year of fighting the good fight, has lost his battle with cancer. As this may come as a surprise to many, Aj preferred to keep his illness hidden from most everyone. He simply didn't want to express the negativity upon those he cherished most!
Whether it was Aj, Mr. Irwin, or coach! Aj left an everlasting impact on many young men and women. Whether it was on the basketball courts with athletes or in the classroom with scholars, his guidance and teachings knew no bound. Aj also had immense passion for music, whether it be writing and recording or engineering a new beat to jam out. Aj's love for all the above could only be outdone by his loving Wife, Crissy Canales. For the better part of a decade, Crissy has been by Aj's side, tackling all that came their way, creating memories.
