Apache FC places 13 on All-District 27-4A team

District 27-4A recently released its boys all-district team and several members of the Apache FC were selected for their outstanding play.


Senior Tristan Gomez was selected as the district’s Utility (Multiposition) Player of the Year, in addition to being a first-team selection. Others joining Gomez on the first team were senior forward/center midfielder Jonathan Tejada, senior defense/sweeper Alejandro Reyna, junior center/midfielder Manuel Velasquez and sophomore center/midfielder Duran Mendoza.


Apaches selected to the second team were senior forward Alberto Rodriguez, senior forward/defense Kamren Cavit and junior left wing Alan Orduna.
Honorable Mention honors went to junior defense/stopper Clemente Govea, junior left wing Ezequiel Reyna, sophomore forward/center midfielder Jesus Huerta, freshman goalkeeper Andres Govea and freshman defense/right wing Emiliano Lopez.


The Apaches finished third in District 27-4A and advanced to the bidistrict round where they fell to Pleasanton, 1-0, to end their season.
