Apaches FC win season opener against Canyon Lake

The Gonzales Apaches FC returned to Apache Field for the season opener against the Canyon Lake Hawks Monday, Dec. 30.

The Apaches shutdown the Hawks, 6-0, kicking off the season with a 1-0 mark.

The Apaches went on the road Thursday, Jan. 2 through Saturday, Jan. 4 for the Bay City Tournament and went 0-1-2 in the tournament to run their record to 1-1-2.

Gonzales will take on Pleasanton at home Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Apache Field.

The Pleasanton match kicks off at 7 p.m.
