Apaches Football 2021: Six games on the road, four at home

Gonzales High School release its 2021 football schedule. The Apaches, coming off a 1-9 season, will play four games at home and six on the road. The Apaches will play four of its first five games on the road before hosting three of its five district games.

The Apaches have two scrimmages starting with Aug. 13 against Austin-Travis (site TBD) and Aug. 20 at Poteet.

The team opens with road games Aug. 27 at El Campo and Sept. 3 at Austin-Crockett, before returning home to face Fredericksburg on Sept. 10.

The team is back on the road to face Ingleside on Sept. 17, and then close non-district play at Jarrell.

The team is off Oct. 1.

The team opens 4A-2 District 13 play at home on Oct. 8 against Giddings, then play at Smithville on Oct. 15, at home Oct. 22 against La Grange, at Navasota on Oct. 29, and back home to face Cuero on Nov. 5.
