Apaches win season opener over Natalia

The Gonzales Apaches basketball team traveled on the road for their first game of the season against the Natalia Mustangs Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The Apaches beat the Mustangs, 57-47, to kick off the season at 1-0.
Gonzales started the game strong in the first half, holding the Mustangs to 17 points; the Apaches outscored Natalia in three out of four quarters.
The Apaches will go back on the road Friday, Nov. 22 for a game against the Lockhart Lions.
Gonzales will have their first home game against the Lehman Lobos Monday, Nov. 25.
The Lockhart game tips off at 7 p.m and the Lehman game at 11:30 a.m.
