Gonzales needs help to make playoffs
The Lady Apaches were swept at home against #4 La Vernia, (25-5, 25-12, 25-12) last Friday. Gonzales then traveled to Cuero on Tuesday, losing to the Lady Gobblers in a close five-set game (25-21, 26-24, 18-25, 17-25, 17-15). Gonzales hosts #12 Navarro (8-1) on Friday before traveling to Poteet (1-7) on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Both games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Nixon-Smiley volleyball
The Lady Mustangs lost in three sets to Poth last Friday. The Lady Mustangs travel to Stockdale on Friday before hosting Luling next Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Luling VB
Luling was swept by Stockdale, losing (25-16, 25-16, 25-20). Luling hosts Karnes City on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. match, before traveling to Nixon-Smiley for a 6 p.m. game against the Lady Mustangs.

Shiner Lady Comanches loses in 4
Shiner Lady Comanches lost in four sets to Wallis Brazos, (25-20, 18-25, 25-13, 25-21). Shiner hosts Prairie Lea on Friday, before traveling to Waelder on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
