Barks and Brews to raise funds for Kingdom Rescue

Get ready for a paws-itively amazing day at the first annual Barks and Brews fundraiser, dedicated to honoring vets and helping pets with Kingdom Rescue, a 501c(3) animal rescue organization in Texas.  Join them on Nov. 9 from noon to 6 p.m. at the historic K. Spoetzl Brewery and Distillery in Shiner, Texas, during Veterans Day Weekend. Entry is free to join the festivities!

 This fun-filled, family-friendly event will feature an array of activities for everyone, including:

• Face Painting: Enjoy a creative twist for kids and adults!

• Vendors: Explore local businesses and pet-related services.

• Pet Photography: Capture beautiful memories with your furry companions.

• Silent Raffle: Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes while supporting a worthy cause.

• $5 Microchips: Ensure your pet’s safety with affordable microchipping.

• Pet Adoptions: Find your new furry friend and give them a forever home.

Schedule of Events:

• Noon to 6 p.m.: Face painting, vendors, pet photography

• Noon to 4 p.m.: Silent raffle, pet costume contest, $5 microchips, pet adoptions

• 3-4 p.m.: Pet and Veteran Blessing, National Anthem performed by Maddie Dawn Music and Pet Parade

• 3:45 p.m.: K9 Demonstration by Heel to Heal Dog Training

• 6 p.m.: Live Music and Festivities will conclude at 6 p.m.

The event will culminate in a special pet and veteran blessing, honoring the active and retired military, including a performance of the National Anthem by Maddie Dawn Music.
