Carlos H. Cedillo

Carlos H. Cedillo, 54, of Waelder, Texas passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at Gonzales Memorial Hospital in Gonzales, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Waelder, Texas with Father Jason Martini officiating. Interment will follow at Waelder Community Cemetery in Waelder, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 21 at Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carlos was born on June 30, 1966 in Flatonia, Texas. He was the son of Epifanio and Ramona (Hernandez) Cedillo. Carlos liked playing music, and he played the Bass Guitar. He liked playing basketball, doing yardwork, and decorating the yard for holidays. He liked watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He loved playing with his nieces and nephews.

Carlos is survived by three brothers; Epifanio Cedillo, Jr. and his wife, Crystal of Waelder, Texas, Gabriel Cedillo and his wife, Teresa of Austin, Texas, Mario Cedillo of Waelder, Texas, two sisters; Virginia Cedillo of Waelder, Texas, Pauline Cantu and her husband, Ignacio of Austin, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Epifanio and Ramona Cedillo, and one brother; Reynaldo Cedillo.

Pallbearers for Mr. Cedillo will be Roy Tovar, Charlie Noyola, Ruben Ortiz, Devlin Cedillo, Anthony Cantu, and Ignacio Cantu.
