Carol Ellen Colyer Boothe

Carol Ellen Colyer Boothe joyfully rushed to Jesus’ arms on Nov. 20, 2021. Born June 13, 1946, Carol was 75 years young. She was the daughter of Henry and Margaret Colyer, of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services for Carol were held at her beloved ranch in Gonzales, Texas, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Carol grew up in Brownwood, Texas where she graduated from Brownwood High School. She moved to Austin, Texas where she graduated from the University of Texas. After graduating she enjoyed a fulfilling career in the teaching field where she taught and was loved by her special needs students. After retiring from teaching Carol has enjoyed living on their ranch in Gonzales where she grew phenomenal vegetable gardens, beautiful flowers and roses.

Carol is survived by her husband Bob Boothe, her sisters, Gail Croft, Gretchen Colyer, Nancy Seale and husband Justin, and Emily Pacheco and husband, Matt; step-children Russell, Niles and Melinda Boothe and also nieces and nephews Terri Stephens, David Croft, Avery, Hayden, Makayla Mair, Aiden, Jaxon and Lyla Pacheco; grandchildren, Russell Jr, Jack, Brittney and Caden Boothe.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Walter B. Croft.

Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, Gonzales, Texas.
