Carol “Penny” Ward Gosnell

On April 19, 2020, Carol “Penny” Ward Gosnell passed away from natural causes at the age of 77.

Penny was raised in Houston, Texas by her loving parents Hazel and Barney Ward.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester “Bobby” Gosnell and stepdaughter Brenda Roberts.

She is survived by her stepson, Bret Gosnell and his wife Teresa Gosnell, cousins Cherye Burns and Mary Beth Mouret, stepdaughter and son – in – law Susan and Cecil McGee and grandchildren Colin and Brittany Richter, Taylor and Talon Roberts, Justin Morris, and great grandchildren Hylann, Blaydon, Mila and Kaydance. A special thank you to Kenneth, Martha and Suzanne for being such good friends.

Penny had a passion for horses and dogs and had a professional breeding business, Penbob Farms, as well as a grooming business in Gonzales.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Penny was an energetic person, strong and determined. Because she was such a kind and compassionate friend and neighbor and beloved by her family, she will be missed by all who knew her.
