Charlie Vernon Burrier, Jr. passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born Jan. 30, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Annie Pearl Wiley and the late Charlie Vernon Burrier, Sr.

Junior was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed old westerns, his little dogs and family get togethers. Junior was, more often than not, the life of the party. Greeting everyone with a cold beer and lots of laughter. He had a soft spot for little kids and the elderly, often raising money for various children's charities. He was many things to many people, often referred to as their favorite.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years (married Aug. 30, 1974): Kathy Gibson Burrier of Gonzales; daughters: Connie Triggs and husband, Dan, of Minnesota, Nicole Ochoa and husband, Mark, of Arizona, “PawPaws Angel” Jorjia “Charlea” Burrier and Daniel DeLaCruz of Luling, Texas; grandsons: Carlton Tapely, of Iowa, and Dalton Lappagard and wife, Sadie, from Minnesota; great-grandchildren: Marcos Tapely of Iowa, and Carter Lappagard of Minnesota; sister: Doris Wright and Pete of Lake McQueeney, Melva Maddox and Gary of New Braunfels; sister: Debra Harrington and Don of Crystal Beach; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
