I am running for Sheriff in the Democratic Primary. There are too many Republican Primary candidates. Republicans can vote for Trump in November. The sheriff should be available 24/7 to any resident, to handle complaints and questions about my department. The sheriff supervises four divisions: law enforcement (patrol and investigations); Jail (most liability); civil process; and bailiff (court guards). I will add a 5th: Computer and Information Security and Fraud.
Change is coming to the Sheriff’s Department. My officers will cease to be “traffic cops.” I intend to reintroduce community relations and they will help. I taught investigations and ran that division of the Army school. I supervise my employees, but I don't do their job.
