The number of coronavirus cases in Gonzales County saw a large uptick with a combined 46 cases reported on Monday, Aug. 24 and Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Of these cases, 34 were reported on Monday and 12 were reported on Tuesday. The total count of cases within the county has risen to 789, with 17 of these cases being termed active as of the Tuesday report disseminated by County Judge Patrick C. Davis.
