Daniel “Wolfie” Camarillo

Daniel “Wolfie” Camarillo, 51, Of Gonzales, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024. He was born July 11, 1973 in Gonzales.

He was a 1992 graduate of Gonzales High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was the owner and manager of Texas Credit Revival. Daniel was an avid sports fan, especially Houston baseball and football and also coached Little League in Gonzales.

He loved music, dancing and telling jokes which always made him the life of the party. He will always be remembered for his friendly demeanor, he was everyone’s friend, never met a stranger and putting a smile on anyone who met him.

Most of all he treasured time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife Tammy Navejar; parents Mary Jane and Alex Gaytan and father Manuel Pena Sr. all of Gonzales; daughter Victoria Camarillo of Gonzales; sons Daniel Camarillo and wife Catherine of Buda and Jacob Camarillo of Gonzales; grandson Ryder Camarillo; sister Christie Castellano and husband Chris of Austin; brothers Alfred Gaytan and wife Lorina, Aaron Gaytan and wife Anissa and Manuel Pena Jr. and wife Mary Lynn all of Gonzales; grandparents Josephine Gaytan and Joe Pena and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Jason Martini officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Daniel Camarillo, Jacob Camarillo, Aaron Gaytan, Carson Gaytan, Alfred Gaytan and Manuel Pena, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Perez, Matthew Aguirre, Conrad Rodriguez, Paul Kennedy, Chris Camarillo, Eric Camarillo, Gabriel Camarillo, Martin Longoria and Marcus Longoria.
