Deborah Kay Brzozowski

Deborah Kay Brzozowski, 62, of Gonzales, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. Deborah was born January 22, 1960 in Shiner to Vernon and Mary Ann Sofka Brzozowski. Deborah was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Debbie attended school is Gonzales. She played the baritone in band and was voted “Class Favorite” before graduating and going to work for Holiday Finance. She worked with this company for 41 years before retiring in 2019 as vice-president. All the while Debbie bred and raised horses with the help of her husband, Lee Jay Muenchow. 

Debbie had enjoyed bowling in the Luling Bowling League and especially trail rides with an abundance of friends. She was a loving person with a warm and charismatic personality. She dearly loved her friends and held them close to her heart. Debbie was an amazing cook, and her enchiladas were celebrated by all who were blessed to have had a plate before them.

Debbie is survived by her loving family, husband, Lee Jay Muenchow, mother, Mary Ann Brzozowski, both of Gonzales, brothers, Vernon Brzozowski, Jr “Dixie” of Wallace, Michael Brzozowski of Gonzales, daughter, Candice Molnoskey (Eddie Vasquez) of Odessa, and son, Gregory Molnoskey, and girlfriend “Nora” of San Marcos and grandson, Grayson Vasquez. She was preceded in death by her father.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 1:30 pm Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in St. James Catholic Church with a Holy Rosary being recited at 1:30 pm in the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm following the rosary with Fr. Jason Martini as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Gonzales Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Matt Muenchow, Ben Knesek, Richard Malatek, Michael Brzozowski, Steven Malatek, and James Molnoskey.
