Eight new, 11 active cases reported Friday, Monday

A total of eight new cases were reported in Gonzales County on Monday according to reports from County Judge Patrick C. Davis. As of Monday there were also 11 active cases being reported in the area.

The total number of cases has risen to 832, with 812 of these being termed recovered by the state’s time-estimated system.

In Trauma Service Area P, which includes Gonzales, there are currently 4,018 hospital beds occupied by coronavirus patients. Of these, 182 are ICU beds.

Across the state, the rate of new reported cases is continuing to decrease, with 2,374 new cases being reported on Monday.
