'First Responders Appreciation' focus of tonight's Main Street Concert Series at Independence Square

The Gonzales Main Street Concert Series continues tongiht (Friday, June 25) with a special foucs on First Responders Appreciation.
Event starts at 6 p.m. on Independence Square with Shane and Renee Total Entertainment and special guests.
Around 7 p.m., local First Responders will be recognized and thanked for their work.
In addition to the "thank you," Shane and Renee will performer until 10 p.m.
There will also be a jalapeno pepper eating contest and Laser Tag, along with the usual event activities like Corn Hole, children's play area and petting zoo, and rock-climbing wall.
Food and other vendors will be on hand.
The event is free.
