Five different food vendors highlight the 2019 Come and Taste It

A nice variety of hors d’oeuvres will be a feature of the Come and Taste It portion of this year’s Craft Beer and Wine Festival.

Five different vendors will have a variety of different foods to sample and taste on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Baker Boys BBQ, one of the top 50 barbecue joints in all of Texas, will be on hand. Owner Wayne Baker will have a plentiful supply of a smoked meat, and everyone will love his food.

The Running M Bar & Grill will also be present, as they will be sampling a wide variety of wings, veggies and other tasty morsels.

Kitchen Pride Farms will be attending for the first time ever and plans on providing an assortment of stuffed mushrooms. If you haven’t tasted their team cooking, you are in for a treat on Friday night.

Sweet B’s will be back this year and will have a nice sample of her absolutely “to-die-for” desserts on hand.

A wide variety of cheese and crackers from H.E.B. will be available for those who must have good finger food to go with the wine they will be tasting.

Napkins, plates and other accoutrements will be provided.

The Texas Benefit Solutions beer tent will open at 6 p.m. on Friday and will remain open until at least 9 p.m. Majak Winery and Vineyard will be the sampling winery on Friday evening, with four pleasant varietals to choose from. They will also be there all day on Saturday.

At 6:30 p.m., Gabe Gallardo will be playing on the David Stewart Trucking Stage from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Only VIP ticket holders can attend Friday evening’s event, and tickets are limited to 150. Limited, limited quantities are still available, and should be purchased in advance at the Gonzales Inquirer office at 622 St. Paul Street in Gonzales or by calling the office at 830-672-2861.

VIP tickets are good for both days of the event.
