Foundation gives local ER a new ventilator

The Gonzales Healthcare Systems Foundation has purchased a Carefusion Bellavista 1000 5-in-1 ventilator system for the Gonzales Healthcare Systems ER Department. 

This state-of-the-art system will enable the staff to perform multiple tasks at the same time. The foundation gathers support through the community with events and fundraisers to purchase lifesaving equipment for the System’s various departments. In 2020, the Foundation purchased a telemetry upgrade which lets the ER department monitor arrhythmias. 

The Foundation is made up of members of the community: President Carolyn Orts, Vice President Andi Seger, Treasurer John Lamprecht, Secretary Dora Noyola, Britney Jones Caka, Roger Dyer, Brian Fees, Sascha Kardosz, Barbara Koricanek, Donna Koehler, Janelle Lester, Darla Machacek, David Malaer and run by Executive Director Kelly A. Lindner.
