Four new cases of COVID-19 reported in county Tuesday

The total number of reported cases of COVID-19 in Gonzales County rose to 836 with the addition of four newly reported cases on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.

There are currently 10 active cases in the county, with nine reported deaths.

Of the 836 total cases of coronavirus in the county, 715 have been investigated and confirmed, while there are currently 102 pending investigation and 19 determined to be probable positive.

In Trauma Service Area P, which includes Gonzales at its easternmost edge, is reporting 4,111 total beds occupied by coronavirus patients, with 727 of these being ICU beds.
