Among the items on the agenda for the regular meeting of Gonzales Economic Development Corporation is the consideration of assisting the City of Gonzales with the repayment of a 20-year bond to payoff the $1.825 million lawsuit settlement over the estate of J.B. Wells.
The city's 20-year General Obligation Refunding Bond will pay the $1.825 million settlement of the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary over a suit it filed over the estate of J.B. Wells.
