George “Tootie Bug” Rice

George “Tootie Bug” Rice, 79, of Smiley, Texas, went to be with his Father in Heaven on February 27, 2022.

George was born George Campbell Rice, Jr. on May 5, 1942, in Wilson County, Texas to George Campbell Rice, Sr. and Johnnie Ellen (Leasman) Rice who precede him in death along with 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 21 years, Jesusa (Medina) Rice; daughter, Missy Dirks and husband Ronald; stepdaughters, Adriane Jones and husband Jason, Terry Pena, Tammy Marmalejo and husband Eric, and Valerie Vargas and partner, Abraham Chavez; as well as numerous loving grandchildren.
