Geraldine Rawls

Geraldine Rawls, 89, of Gonzales, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024.  She was born on March 10, 1935 in North Zulch, Texas to Emanuel and Nancy Goodman.

After her husband retired in 1994 they moved to Gonzales from Highlands, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and life on their ranch.  She was a member of Two Rivers Bible Church.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Henley and husband Tommy of Gonzales; son Kent Rawls and wife Brenda of Mont Belvieu; daughters-in-law Marsha Rawls of Lillington, North Carolina and Sharon Rawls of Highlands; sister Bonnie Parker of Highlands and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Weldon Wayne Rawls, sons Michael Rawls and Steven Rawls.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Elizondo officiating.  Interment will follow at the Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Brian Rawls, Cory Rawls, Joshua Henley, Jonathan Henley, Jeremy Wilburn, John Rawls and Joshua Rawls.
