Gonzales County Commissioners to meet twice

The Gonzales County Commissioners Court will meet twice next week, first in regular session at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at the County Courthouse, 414 St. Joseph St., where they will approve the oath and bond of the new sheriff as well as deputations for sheriff and Precinct 3 constable; distribution of unclaimed capital credits; cast votes for GCAD directors; approve renewal of liability insurance coverage with TAC and award a bid for asphalt materials for all four road and bridge precincts.

Then, during a special 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, meeting, commissioners will file the adopted county budget and then adjourn into executive session to discuss pending economic development negotiations.
