Gonzales County reports no new cases, nine active cases Thursday

No new cases of coronavirus were reported in Gonzales County on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020. The number of active cases also fell from 10 to nine, according to the daily report from County Judge Patrick C. Davis. 

The number of recovered cases is estimated to be 807.

This leaves the total cases In the state of Texas, 5,059 new cases were reported, with a rate of 20.14 persons with COVID-19 per 1,000.

In Trauma Service Area P, there are a total of 4,321 beds occupied by COVID-19 patients. Of these, 746 are ICU beds, an increase of 15 ICU beds from Wednesday.

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
