Gonzales County reports no new cases of coronavirus Monday

The number of active coronavirus cases did not increase Monday according to the Department of State Health Services report distributed by Gonzales County Judge Patrick C. Davis.

Active cases remain at 48, with 582 estimated to have recovered, and six deaths reported.

Gonzales County Emergency Management advises those who may be presenting symptoms of the coronavirus to seek medical advice from their regular doctor regarding being tested.

Common symptoms of the coronavirus include:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
