Gonzales ISD receives billboard donations

Gonzales ISD continues to strive in featuring and honoring a legacy of greatness in GISD students and staff. On Tuesday, Nov. 15, two billboards launched on US Highway 183 Business and US 183 that approximately 11,000 commuters will view during their drive through our community. 

GISD is highlighting students and graduates with a “Growing Greatness” billboard on US 183 Business a half-mile north of Sarah DeWitt Drive. Students from each campus and grade level are featured, alongside Gonzales ISD graduates representing College, Career, and Military Readiness. 

The second billboard, at 2181 S. US 183, about 350 feet north of FM 1917, features staff members honoring and representing a legacy of greatness in GISD. Those include families who have lived, graduated, and worked in Gonzales. 

The billboards were donated free of charge through community partner JGI Outdoor Advertising to share the vision of growing greatness in GISD.
