Gonzales ISD to provide free summer meals

The Gonzales Independent School District is participating in the 2020 Seamless Summer Option (SS).
Meals will be provided for curbside pickup (as it has occurred since March 23) to all children ages 18 and under without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Children must be present in vehicle or the driver must present a list of children if the children are not in vehicle. Each day up to two breakfasts and two lunches will be served together. Each week, a total of seven days’ worth of meals will be provided for pickup. Meal service days each week are: Mondays through Thursdays. All meal items will continue to be either cold (for reheating as necessary) or no temperature. Any cold items received should be consumed immediately or immediately refrigerated at 41 degrees or below.

Breakfast and lunch meals combined 7:30 a.m. to noon.
Service Dates: May 28 through July 30 (Monday – Thursday). Meals will be provided for each calendar day from May 28, 2020 through July 31.
