Gonzales Little League Junior Softball All-Stars fall to Shiner, 11-9, in title game

The Gonzales Little League Junior Softball All-Stars faced Shiner in the championship round of the District 31 tournament on Thursday, June 24 in Shiner. 

Gonzales lost the game 11-9. Gonzales needed to defeat undefeated Shiner twice to win the title. 

Gonzales went 2-2 in the tournament, posting wins over Lockhart and Cuero. Its two losses came against Shiner, including an 11-1 defeat in the second game of the tournament.
