Juan "Johnny" Humberto Trevino Jr.

Juan "Johnny" Humberto Trevino Jr., age 57, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021. Juan was born Aug. 14, 1963 in Alice, Texas to Rachel (Garcia) Trevino and Juan Humberto Trevino, Sr.

Johnny loved his children and grandchildren very much. He enjoyed watching movies, going to sporting events with his children and grandchildren and spending valuable time with them. Johnny was a big fan of the Astros, Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed all kinds of music, especially Rock and loved to visit a San Antonio favorite Rock Club, Bond 007.

Johnny is survived by his children: Angel Cruz Trevino, Sabrina Leann Trevino, Nicholas John Trevino, Victoria Raquel Trevino, Bobby Rodriguez and Julie Ann Gutierrez; his father: Juan Humberto Trevino, Sr. (Aurora); his siblings: Yvonne "Bonnie" San Miguel, Norma "Diddle" Trevino, John Anthony Trevino, Vangie Salas, Martin Salas and Michelle Martinez (Richard); his grandchildren: Lundon Trevino, Lennon Trevino, Ysabella Garza, Jose Alfredo "Freddy" Martinez, Peace Trevino, Daniel Reyes Jr., Mia Sepulveda, Daniel Jimenez, Leila Pena, Dominic Rodriguez and Sophie Rodriguez; great grandson Ace Jimenez; niece: Melissa Cuevas (Anthony); nephews: Michael R. San Miguel II and Dominic Flores.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother Rachel (Garcia) Trevino.

A visitation for Johnny will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas, officiated by Father Jason Martini. Burial will occur at Gonzales Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Angel Trevino, Nicholas Trevino, Lundon Trevino, Mike San Miguel, Bobby Rodriguez, Dominic Flores, Justin Sepulveda and Anthony Cuevas.
