Judy Peterman, of Gonzales, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at the age of 72. She was born on November 26, 1949, in Gonzales, to Herman Willham and Vera Pauline Taylor Irle. She married Hubert Davis Peterman on December 24, 1981, in Las Vegas.
Judy could be described as a jack of all trades. She was successful at everything she set her mind to. She enjoyed photography, sewing, and baking. Her famous banana nut bread was a favorite amongst her family. Judy was a completely selfless person and always put everyone else first. She showed her love and appreciation by putting other’s interests above her own. Judy was a true treasure to her entire family.
Judy is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Hubert Peterman of Gonzales, daughter, Kayla Buch and husband Will of Cuero, sons, Ralph Peterman and wife Tracey of Kempner, and Larry Peterman and wife Tammy of Corpus, sisters, Wanda Dunn and husband Thomas and Brenda Kuntschik and husband Darin, all of Gonzales, and 17 grand and great-grandchildren combined. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Kirby and Kevin Hunt, daughter, Debi Hunt and Mavis Machicek, and brother, William Irle.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Clint Lowery officiating. The family has requested for friends to refrain from sending their tributes through flowers, and instead make donations to the American Cancer Society, in memory of Judy.
