Lady Apaches blow out Giddings in home game

The Gonzales Lady Apaches returned home from the Navarro Tournament to host the Giddings Lady Buffaloes.

The Lady Apaches earned their ninth win of the season with a 52-33 rout of Giddings.

Senior Kilee Schwausch led the Lady Apaches with 12 points and six assists; and junior Isbella Ikard led the team with 13 rebounds in the win over Giddings.

The Lady Apaches improved to 9-11 for the season and will go back on the road for the Brazos tournament Thursday, Dec. 12.

The Lady Apaches will take on Caddo Mills, Schulenburg, Bellville and Brazos in the tournament.

Gonzales will return home Tuesday, Dec. 17 for a game against the Calhound Sandies at the Apache Gym.

The Calhoun game tips off at 6 p.m.
