Lady Apaches earn first win over Elgin

The Gonzales Lady Apaches hosted Elgin at home for the second game of the 2024-25 season Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The Lady Apaches were victorious, 44-28, over Elgin and earned their first win of the season.

Senior Bella Aguero led the team with 15 points and nine steals; fellow senior Kilee Schwausch recorded her first double-digit point game of the season with 10 points and led team with five assists.

Kiana White helped the Lady Apaches with 13 rebounds in the win over Elgin; White recorded eight offensive rebounds and five defensive rebounds.

The Lady Apaches will host Kyle Lehman High School Friday, Nov. 8 for the third home game of the season.

Gonzales next week will go play at Hallettsville (Tuesday, Nov. 12) and Nixon-Smiley (Friday, Nov. 15).
