Lady Apaches fall to St. Joseph on the road

The Gonzales Lady Apaches traveled to Victoria Tuesday, Sept. 10 for a non-district match against the St. Joseph Lady Flyers.

The Lady Apaches fell to the Lady Flyers in three sets (9-25, 10-25, 18-25) and were handed their fourth loss in a row.

The Lady Apaches have two more non-district matches before the district opener against La Vernia Friday, Sept. 27.

The Lady Apaches will host the Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs Friday, Sept. 13 for the last home non-district match before district.

This will be the second time these two teams will meet this season; they met at the Cuero tournament, when the Lady Apaches beat the Lady Mustangs.

Gonzales will head back on the road from its bye to Karnes City Tuesday, Sept. 24 for the final non-district match.
