Lady Apaches knocked out of playoff contention

The Gonzales Lady Apaches needed to turn some district losses into wins in the second half of district play with the hole they dug in the first half. Unfortunately, after split games the last week, the Lady Apaches (3-7) are mathematically out of playoff contention. Gonzales lost in three sets to Navarro last Friday, Oct. 18 before sweeping Poteet on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The Lady Apaches host Pleasanton on Friday before concluding their season with a road game against San Antonio Brooks Academy next Tuesday, Oct. 29.
