Lady Mustangs fall to fifth-ranked Goliad

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs hosted the fifth-ranked Goliad Lady Tigers in the fifth district match of the season Friday, Oct 11.

The Lady Mustangs fell to Goliad in three sets (7-25, 1-25, 6-25); Nixon-Smiley scored 14 total points in the loss to Goliad.

Nixon-Smiley drops to 0-5 in district play.

The Lady Mustangs kicked off the second half of district against Poth Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Nixon-Smiley will go on the road against the Luling Lady Eagles Friday, Oct. 18.

The Luling game starts at 5 p.m.
