Larry Ray Lowe

Larry Ray Lowe, 58, of Gonzales, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was born June 15, 1964 in Houston to Clyde W. Lowe and Virginiabel Wren Lowe. Larry was raised in the Baptist faith. He attended school in Gonzales through the 9^th grade, and attended grades 10 through 12 in Willis, Texas. After high school he studied for 2 years at Conroe Community College.

Larry loved to spend a couple of weeks every summer with his aunt and uncle Tidmore. He loved music and often created his own songs. He played the piano, organ, guitar, and ukulele. He was learning the harmonica and enjoyed singing.  He enjoyed writing stories, and telling jokes to make others laugh. He enjoyed puzzles and card games and working on his computer. Larry loved to learn new languages, but above all things, Larry loved his family and friends.   

He is survived by his mother, Virginiabel L. Kerr of Gonzales, sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Hendershot of Gonzales, sister-in-law, Patricia Lowe of Houston, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, James Allen Lowe. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday, April 21, 2023 in the Gonzales Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Hollas Hoffman officiating.
