Laura Britt, 60, of Buda, Texas lost her 22-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease on Feb. 24, 2021. Laura was born on Aug. 4, 1960 in Gonzales, Texas to Bobbie Claude Bullard and Velma Ann (Crisp) Bullard. She is preceded in death by her father, Bobbie. Laura married Charles David “Charlie” Britt on Nov. 1, 1980 in Austin, Texas. Laura was the only girl of 4 children. She was an amazingly strong wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother who fought a courageous battle against Parkinson’s Disease. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Thomas A. Hill, Laura’s doctor for over 16 years, and Dr. Anant Patel, who performed Deep Brain Stimulation, giving the family an additional 12 years with her. Laura is survived by her husband, Charlie Britt; mother, Velma Bullard; children, Charles Britt Jr. (Stephanie), Kathleen Odell (Brandon), and Mark Britt, Sr. (Brittany); grandchildren, Tanner, Mark Jr., Mason, Hailey, Carson, Hannah, Matthew, Heather, Madison, Scott, Luke, and Micah; brothers, Butch Bullard (Tracy), Bryon Bullard (Symantha), and Jonathan Bullard (Karian); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.
