Linda Diana Null, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. Linda, the eldest child of Robert Null and Lena Hoffman Null, was born on Feb. 10, 1949 in Gonzales, Texas. She attended school in Waelder, TX and graduated in 1967. Linda attended the Methodist Church in Waelder as a child and was a dedicated member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gonzales as an adult.

Linda attended cosmetology school in the 1970s and owned a beauty shop in Waelder with her sister, Ruth Ann. Linda also worked at The Chicken Hut in Waelder at this time. After closing the beauty shop, Linda began working for J Bar B Foods in Waelder. Linda dedicated 35 years of her life to J Bar B, where she held multiple positions and considered the owners and their family part of her family.

Linda was actively involved in her community throughout her life. She kept books and clock for Waelder ISD basketball games during her time at school compiling over 25 years of dedicated service. Linda was also a member of the Waelder Fire Department in her younger years and served on the Waelder ISD School Board. She served as the secretary for the Saturn Cemetery Association. Linda was also on the Alter Guild and the co-chairman of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church Fellowship Board for many years. Linda loved attending the Monday afternoon bible study at her church.

Linda’s life and memory will be cherished by her family: sister: Ruth Ann (Terry) Campion, of Waelder; brother: Robert “Buzzy” (Elaine) Null, of Flatonia; nephews: Justin (Meagan) Campion and Jason Campion; niece: Allison (Shane) Charanza; great-niece: Annie Charanza; great-nephews: Zachary Charanza, John Campion, and Asher Campion; many cousins, and her church and work families. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law: Carol Null.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Ildiko Rigney of First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Interment followed in Saturn Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Justin Campion, Jason Campion, Shane Charanza, Zachary Charanza, Preston DuBose, and Danny Janecka. Honorary Pallbearers are Amy Janecka Cernosek, Danny Janecka, II, Allison Charanza, Annie Charanza, John Campion, Asher Campion, and the employees of J Bar B Foods.
