Lupe Ramos

Lupe Ramos, 68, of Pasadena, TX, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  She was born October 15, 1952 in Yoakum the daughter of Guadalupe Mendez and Marcella Ramos.  Lupe enjoyed music and dancing, watching her favorite crime shows and wrestling.  She was a lady with a very strong faith, collecting artwork of the saints and her special devotion of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She was an excellent cook and a talented baker.  Most of all she loved time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Ann Weight of Cypress, Christina Denise Saldivar and husband Jeffrey of New Caney and Corina Pena of Pasaddena; son Edward Lee Weight of Aransas Pass; sisters: Esparanza Mejia of Houston and Betty Guevara of San Antonio; brothers: Pete Guevara of Hallettsville, Chris Guevara and wife Nicole of Schulenburg, Arturo Guevara of Houston and Juan Guevara of Victoria. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucy Sanchez and Dolores Leal and great=grandson Ayden Morales.

Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, October 21 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.  A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m.  Funeral Mass was celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, October 22 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Jason Martini officiating.  Interment followed at St. James Cemetery.
