Margarito Casares, 87, of Moulton, Texas passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021 at Lavaca Medical Center in Hallettsville, Texas.
Graveside Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas with Father Jason Martini officiating.
Margarito was born on Mar. 21, 1933 in Gonzales, Texas. He was the son of Jacinto and Sebastian (Aguilar) Casares. He was married to Alita Guerra. He liked to go fishing, and playing dominoes. He liked to watch wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys on TV.
Margarito is survived by one son, David Daniel Casares; one brother, Hilario Casares and his wife, Teheresa of Shiner, Texas; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacinto and Sebastian Casares, and his wife, Alita.
Pallbearers for Mr. Casares will be David Casares, Richard Casares, Nolan Ryan Casares, Gabe Casares, John Paul Garcia, and John Button.
