Misty Ann May Mueller Manning, age 56 of Leesville, passed away on May 17, 2025. Misty was born on September 11, 1968 in Gonzales, Texas to Louise Ann (Schulz) and George Byran May, Sr.
Misty grew up in Seguin and along with her siblings was part of the “Neighborhood Gang” also known as the “Short Street Kids”! Good times were had by all. Misty was a member of the Seguin High School Dance Team and graduated from Seguin High School Class of 1987.
Misty will be remembered as one of the most giving people, always helping her family members: the “true glue” of her large, loving family. Her bright personality and smile lit up a room everywhere she went. Currently Misty was a teacher in the elementary special education department for the Gonzales Independent School District. She loved the children she helped and all the people she worked with at the school. As evident, her most precious times were spent with family and friends: especially her role as a “Mimi” to her grandchildren and everybody else.
Misty is preceded in death by her mother, and her son, Klayton Manning.
Survivors include her loving husband, Kenny Manning; sons, Jacob Colby Mueller, Caleb Ryan Mueller and wife Mallory, Klayton Wade Manning and Kaeleb Wade Manning and wife Rylee; grandchildren, Brady Layne Mueller, Lila Grace Mueller, Livy Jonell Mueller and Sadie Mae Manning; father, Geoge May, Sr.; sister, Kristi May-Sauveur and husband Jeffre; brother, George May, Jr.; niece, Emily Gerhardt; nephews, Trace Sauveur, Zane Holcomb and Trance Norman; great nephews, Liam Gerhardt and Jasper Holcomb; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.
