Mustangs fall to Pleasanton Eagles in 72-31 road loss

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs went back on the road for a game against the Pleasanton Eagles Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The Mustangs fell to the Eagles, 72-31, and dropped to 2-5 on the season; Pleasanton outscored the Mustangs, 35-12, at the end of the first half.

The Mustangs will go back on the road Thursday, Dec. 12, for the Moulton tournament; Nixon-Smiley will take on Sacred Heart, Moulton and Tribe Warriors in the tournament as scheduled.

The Mustangs will return home Tuesday, Dec. 19 for a game against the La Vernia Bears.

Nixon-Smiley will closes out 2024 with its own tournament Friday, Dec. 27 through Saturday, Dec. 28.

The La Vernia game tips off at 6:30 p.m.
