Opal L. Fellers Tumlinson Duhon

Opal L. Fellers Tumlinson Duhon passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2021. Born on Dec. 2, 1926 to William and Sarah Fryer Fellers. She was a descendant of Henry and Sophia G’Fellers and James A.J. Fryer and Eliza Evans early Texas pioneers.

Opal was preceded in death by two husbands and two sons. She is the last of 21 siblings and the last of 10 Tumlinson daughters-in-law.

She is survived by four sons, three daughters, 47 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Justice officiating. Burial will be at the Slayden Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas at 3 p.m.

Services are under the direction of the Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel in Brownwood.
