Patricia Ann Polasek Miller passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 73. Pat was born November 26, 1946 in Shiner, TX to Bennie and Vlasta Polasek. The family moved to Gonzales when Patricia was six years old and she attended school in Gonzales.

Patricia worked many jobs in the Gonzales area. She was known by many as Ms. Pat from Golden Chick, where she worked for 15+ years. Pat never met a stranger and she loved her co-workers, and many of her customers, like family.

Pat treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren. Many laughs were had at every birthday, holiday, family BBQ, and trips to the beach. She loved sweets and her grandkids always knew there would be something sweet to eat, whether it was homemade or store-bought, at Grandma’s house. Kisses and hugs were always in abundance!

Patricia is survived by her four daughters – Lisa (Larry) Arnic, Emily (Johnny) Hunt, Jennifer Miller, and Samantha (Michael) Garcia. Pat is also survived by her dearly loved grandchildren – Ryan, Shannon, Justin, Whitney, Darnell, Michaela, Tyler, and Maura, five great-grandchildren, two brothers (Bennie, Jr. and Leroy) and two sisters (Doris and Irene) and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her parents and one beloved sister, Lorene “Tootsie” Gast.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 AM. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Friends may leave their condolences and sign the guest book by visiting www.seydlerhillfuneralhome.com. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to The Heights of Gonzales and Dr. John Thomas.

Due to current CDC and State mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation and funeral service. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend. Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
