To the editor in charge of publishing Letters to the Editor in the Gonzales Inquirer:
My young years were happily spent growing up in Gonzales, my family’s hometown. Most all my elderly relatives are buried in the Masonic Cemetery, including my mother. The following is something I feel very strongly about and wish I could share with, not only the fine folks of Gonzales, but the entire country, particularly as the Presidential election campaigning gets underway:
President Donald Trump lacks any traces of character, integrity, or principles, and I firmly believe that those who can ignore and be OK with the lack of such characteristics in the leader of a nation are dooming it to failure, making it impossible to be a viable country.
