Ruperto Balderas Ramirez

Ruperto Balderas Ramirez, 67, of Gonzales, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024.  He was born March 27, 1957 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico the son of Panta Leon Ramirez and Sara Balderas Banda. 

He was employed by Kitchen Pride for several years until his retirement in 2024 and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Gonzales.  He enjoyed gardening, watching novellas on television and loved Mexican music.  Most of all he treasured time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife Maria Victoria “Vicky” Ramirez of Gonzales; daughters Ruby Isabel Ramirez of Gonzales, Kimberly Giselle Ramirez of Converse and Kelly Abigail Ramirez of Gonzales; sons Roberto Carlos Ramirez of Gonzales, Jorge Luis Ramirez of New Braunfels, Victor Manuel Ramirez and Alejandro Jesus Ramirez both of Gonzales; granddaughters Julie, Kylie and Emily; sisters Marta Camacho, Lupe Rodriguez and Micaela Rios and brothers Javier Ramirez and Antonio Ramirez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Juan Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez and Alfonso Ramirez.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Martin Garcia officiating.  Interment will follow at the Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery.
