RWOYA to host Senate District 18 meeting April 10

The Republican Women of the Yoakum Area will host a meeting for Senate District 18 on Saturday, April 10, from 7:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to create a plan to work as a unified group on four issue topics of censorship and cancel culture, illegal immigration, election fraud and reform, and state sovereignty.  

The day will begin with registration and a light breakfast from 7:15 to 8 a.m. Individual speakers will speak from 8 to 11 a.m. These speakers include Managing Editor of the Yoakum Hearald-Times Bobby Horecka, Jackson County Sheriff A.J. Louderback, Colonel Phil Waldron of Allied Security Operations Group, State Representative Jacey Jetton, Tom Glass who will be speaking on state sovereignty, and a staff assistant of the Office of Attorney General.

The meeting will break for lunch at 12:30 p.m., with sandwiches and drinks available. Attendees may also bring a bagged lunch.

Attendees will break into work groups at 1 p.m. and reconvene at 2:30 to vote on steps to include in their plan. The meeting is scheduled to adjourn at 3 p.m.

A panel of speakers will also be in attendance. This panel will include Congressman Michael Cloud, State Senator Lois Kolkhorst and her husband Jim, State Representative Ben Leman, State Representative Geanie Morrison, and Representative Phil Stephenson.
