Scott Benjamin Quinton

Posted

On Aug. 16, Scott Benjamin Quinton was called by our Heavenly Father to join him. He was born Dec. 29, 1978 in Gonzales, Texas. He was a very kind and loving person who would have given the shirt off of his back to those in need. His soul was kind to all animals, especially his cats. He would spend hours talking about his love for science fiction, particularly Star Wars, Marvel and DC movies. To Carl and Mona Aigner’s, they felt as if he was a member of their family as he worked with them as an electrician in Victoria, Texas for the past 15 years.

He is survived by his father Tim and Kathy Quinton of Gonzales, Texas, mother Betty Holt and John Bishop of Bandera, Texas, sister Leia Quinton Dalton and nieces Johnna, Tyla, Lana and Briana of Gonzales, Texas, grandfather Arthur Adams of Bowling Green, Kentucky, grandparents Richard and Barbara Simmers of Corpus Christi, Texas, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents Louis and Wilma Quinton, Donald and Viola Holt.

Memorial services will be held at East Side Baptist Church, 701 Seydler Street, Gonzales, Texas on Aug. 31 at 10:30 a.m.

As Scott was a casual man in life, the family wishes those who attend the memorial to dress casually. The family request that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association.
